Robots taking over future construction jobs
Design jobs are shifting overseas, construction is moving offsite and skilled labour is becoming more and more robotised - that’s the industry news coming from recent studies into the future of employment.
In light of news that Australian design jobs are under pressures not seen since 1990, a new study from UK’s Oxford University has suggested that many skilled trades are also likely to fall victim to an imminent trend of offsite and increasingly robotised construction.
