Qatar $4.22bn New Port Project Contracts Awarded

One of the latest construction project awarded in United Arab Emirate countries is the construction of New Sea Prot in Qatar. This project has been awarded to a well known and a famous company of the region.
It is expected that the new port, which is under construction in Qatar will get completed by 2020. Qatar has awarded a total amount of 4.22 billion dollars to construction contracts for this project. As reported by the Peninsula.
The New Port Project is being built on 26km2 with a total worth of 7.41 billion dollars. The new Qatar port project has been considered to be one of the largest projects of Qatar which will strengthen the infrastructure of the place.
A report about the project has been published and according to this report, the project is in phases of completion. The first phase of project is expected to complete by 2016. Completion of this phase will lead to increase the capacity of port after which the port will be able to receive a total of 2 million containers. After the completion of other two phases by 2020, the port will be able to reach the full capacity which is receiving a total of 6 million containers. This port will lead to the way which will enhance the possibilities for better trade and relationship with other countries.
