Establish local (Site) benchmark transferred from Government datum.

 

Mark the corner coordinates of the building.

 

Provide temporary markers.

 

Protect the marked area. For temporary protection use warning tape.

 

Conduct a Trial pit excavation to determine if there are services within the area.

 

If services have been located, inform concerned government parties for reroute of the said services.

 

Once the area is cleared. Excavation may start.

 

Blinding concrete level shall be determined using survey levelling instrument.
