This Video gives the information of selecting the right quality steel. Thermostatically Trusted base known as TMT bars of 415 and 500 grade are being used widely for construction purposes. The Steel Bars should be free from loose mills scales, scaly rust, oil or any other coatings.
The Bars are available in different diameters having a standard length of 12 Meters. The Weight of the Bars varies with diameters. The Weight per meter length as per Indian Standard are shown on the Screen which help you to check the correct weight while purchasing the Steel Bars.

The Pitch and shape of the Ribs of the Bars develops strong bond with concrete. The Rod Should not develop any cracks on the top of the Bent portion, when bent to a portion of 180 Degree and rebent to 180 Degree.
It is always recommended to purchase reputed Brand of Steel bars. The Bars shall checked for ISI Logo, grade and name of the Manufacturer.
